Post Just wondering if. . . . . .

ok guys i have a 95 f150 5.0 liter i lowered with djm 3/5 it put k&n airfilter, B&m shift improver, and i put 3.55 gears i was wondering if you guys have the same stock exhaust as me it comes out of the manifold then into one cat and a little bit of pipe then another cat the stock muffler i had on it was horrible so i just cut it off it actually gave a little more horsepower i was wondering if i could cut the cats or one of them off and not mess anything up i know about the o2 sensor also what kind of mods do yall recomend

Cool

Not sure exactly what the GenI exhaust is like, but the GenII has true dual exhaust with two cats in each line. The muffler is very free flowing. Most folks will tell you that you are wasting your time pulling the cats if you want to increase performance.

This is from old memory... The 93-95 Lightnings had true dual exhaust. They were not OBD2 so they only had O2's before the cats so it won't trip a code if you knock it off. Fords like back pressure so I would replace it with a high flow cat from Catco and good muffler.
