| Guest | To get serious for a moment, it could be dust between the calipers and the rotors. If there is only 3000 miles on the pads, they certainly should be in good shape unless they have cracked from heat and/or pieces broken off. Chances are good it is just something like dust and will go away after you have really heated them this weekend. |

| Guest | The organic pads that Ford is using does have a tendency to squeek under light pressure. My old '00 F150 did it, so does the new '01 Lightning. I changed the pads in the old truck with Performance Friction pads because it got so bad. If you read the owners manual, it states that the brakes will squeek under light pressure. But it could be the dust too... GGus |
