Wink Swanson Chip downfall??

I bet THAT got your attention!

After Jeff installed the Swanson chip in the L2, I've noticed only one drawback to it. It's a real PAIN IN THE BUTT to clean the melted rubber off the back of the truck!

I love this chip!

Thumbs up

She's right, this thing rocks! I can punch the truck at any point in first gear and it'll scrabble for traction and bark the tires seriously going into second.

Combine the chip with the recent cooler weather and WOW! Now I think it's time for some Bassani exhaust goodies. So much for the "it's gonna stay stock" thing!!

Yes, she is right.
After installing the Swanson chip in my L2 I saw a huge difference in acceleration. When hitting second gear the rear tires will break loose & lay down approximately 25-30 ft. of rubber. (it will do this in the middle of summer 90 deg heat)
No mushy shifts now, nice & firm, not harsh, just firm.

Cool

Jeff,

You might want to talk to Spiro and some of the other guys that run the Bassani exhaust. On F150online I think they were complaining about bad cats on them that rattled. Just a heads up, it might not be a big problem but a few did mention it. You don't to be in the same boat you just got out of.

I just found a little something about it on this board. http://nloc.org/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000200.html
