It's that time of year again,time for the big Ford blowout at National Trail Raceway just east of Columbus Ohio.This year there is going to be a truck class so I'm running the L on Sunday and the old Mustang on Friday and Saturday.For info go to www.fordexpo.com

You know we would be there if my husband had enough sense to keep his foot out from under the tire of his mother's jeep....

His foot is crushed and he's stuck in bed for a while, we can't go anywhere.

OUCH! sorry to hear that,wish you could make it and I sure hope everybody watches out for those Jeep tires,or any tires for that matter.I hope heals up quick,just remember he's a man and we always milk injury/sickness for all it's worth.At least that's what my wife says.

Well the big weekend is over and I didn't break anything on the L or the Stang.I went out first round in the Mustang Sat.,broke out which wasn't all bad cause the car was running way off the usual numbers.I went out second round in the L on Sun.,broke out by a little less than .01.If I would have cut a better light,a little brake would have made it a very close race.The other guy was in a 70 shortbed F-100 with a 460 running 14.2.My best 1/8 mile was 9.69 versus 9.62 at the local strip.My 1/4 mile was 15.24 time trial and back to back 15.23 first and second round.There were 15 or 16 trucks in the truck class,6 were Ls.There were 3 G1s and 3 G2s.Fastest L I think was QUICKSVT with a 2000 white that went 12.8s and was a nice truck indeed.Had fun and hope they run the truck class next year so we can get some more Ls out.I've got to get to work cause I want 14s.

Greenstang, Nice meeting you at that cruise-in. My truck finally hooked a little on Sunday. I was impressed to see my mph finally in the 106 range in the heat of the day.

QUICKSVT,I was planning on getting through the pits more but got busy in the swap meet and talking with racers I hadn't seen since last year.Your truck runs really good.I started seing visions of superchargers on my time trial pass when I had to watch the red G2 keep pulling away from me.
