Thumbs up

Trace,
Dang... If you didn't have bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all... I hope you get the motor, house and back fixed soon!

Harrison,
1/8th mile... That's for people to scared to run the whole 1/4... Now go get working on that truck so you don't miss another one!

Pothole,
My Pop's and the truck are ready but he has other plans for tomorrow night... Its pretty funny every time I go over to my parents my dad is out in the garage working on the truck... So far he has painted the upper and lower grills body color, Painted the front spindles all the calipers and rear wheel wells black, custom black with a silver lightning bolt emblems are being made to replace the blue Ford ovals, tinted windows etc., He has definitely been struck by Lightning fever! I'm having thoughts of taking the 01 tomorrow but I really should run my truck to practice for the FFW this weekend so that's probably what I will do... Do you want to go? The weather is going to be perfect for this time of year!

Later,
Dave P.

Thanks, Dave.

After getting it apart, I found no damage other than another oil pump that was beginning to eat itself. Melling oil pumps SUCK.

I've also decided to sell the A4 block, crank, rods and pistons. If ya know anyone interested, it's ready to go! I'm going back to having fun in a street car and will be putting my old engine back together. There's no point in having all this hardware if I'm not going to utilize it's potential

Besides, my priorities changed a bit recently

Oh yah, the house is all good now. We worked our asses off and still have to replace the floor covering in the bathroom, but life is pretty much back to normal here.

Trace, stock oil pumps work great. I got 6th at Stanton. Got home and tore the heads off to send them out to Bishoff. I hope to have the mustang running and at Edgewater Fri. Anyone going? If you see a grey 88 GT with NMRA stickers all over it stop and say Hi. I am hoping for 12.50s at Byron. We will see
