Question So who has the best service department for SVT?

My 01 is coming from Nolan ford here in cinci b/c they would honor x-plan pricing. My question is what dealership has a service department that is half way knowledgeable of SVT products? Lets here your service stories good and bad...

Thumbs up

Steve,

Although I got mine from Williams Ford/Jaguar in Montgomery, I've had a couple bad experiences with their service dept. I have recently taken mine to Kings Ford and have not yet had a problem. Only reason I didn't buy my truck from them is that they didn't have a white one at the time.

What problems did you have? Not the dreaded IC leak?

Got my truck on a Friday. Put it in the garage and when I came out Saturday morning there was a pool of red fluid under it. Took it in not once, not twice but three times before they finally realized it was a faulty fitting on the PS pump. Also, the first time in I watched them drive it very quickly through their lot, over speed bumps and into the garage. While driving it up onto their lift they scratched the bottom of my front air dam. When new, my steering wheel was cocked at 45 degrees so I asked them to align the front end and straighten the wheel. Said they couldn't do it because they didn't have the right equipment. Had to set up ANOTHER appointment with Performance Alignment to have that done. There were a couple other small issues, but, after all of this I decided to try another dealer.

Dang - that is a lousy service department. I've visited Kings ford and they truly suck from a pressure sales perspective but I'll keep the service department in mind.
