I just wanted to add a funny post I saw in the Auto Mart classifeds. The "Kerry Ford" page has a rather large picture of a G2 Lightning for sale. In the description it says 1997 Dakota V6 S/C , $12,000. You'd think a Ford would recognize a Lightning. On a nother note. I went to Beechmont Subaru the check out a G1 from the community classifieds. When I got there they showed my a 94 F-150 flare side. The sales man said "of couse it's a Lightning, look at the bed, all Lightnings have a sport bed." I said that's a lightning!(pointing to my truck) He said he liked the custom rims. I guess some are thicker than mud?

Hey Nick;looks like your salesman needs to go back to sales school ,to get aquainted with Ford Products HA!!!!!!!!!!!WhatsUPPPPPwith ford sales personel.I have a cobra Saleen ordered since nov.8th of 1999,looks like i finially will get it but my Lightning has to go.I really hate to let it go but my Dollars are tied in it.Its paid for so that works in my favor,i can sit on it until the right price comes along.
