| Guest | I'm looking to get a Hotchkis front coil springs rear 2" drop leaf springs and sway bar set. Is it much improvement over stock in handling(It seems as if everyone that has it is pleased)? Is there another company that makes something better(I searched but haven't seen anything)? I don't plan on auto crossing but would like a better handling truck. I also want to get a little drop. Does the front drop a full inch or just 1/2 inch? Thanks. One more question. The rear leafs are a 2" drop. Would I be better off getting a set of these new fiberglass 2" drop rear springs which are lighter? [This message has been edited by easterisland (edited 12-03-2001).] |

| Guest | With better shocks, it performs well. There are other companies that sell suspension kits: Roush, SoCal, Ruslow (custom setup). Whatever one you choose, better shocks are needed although Roush has tuned shocks but at an added cost. Each suspension setup has benefits and drawbacks. Regarding the drop, I'll have to measure mine and post the numbers with pix for comparison, because my drop may be lower than the current system they're selling. The numbers will tell the truth. As far as fiberglass springs are concerned, I don't know. There are others on this board who could provide opinions. Anyone? Spike |
