Question gui download

Raymond,

I've downloaded the guieectuner just to play around a bit with the tuner stuff. Does the lhblo.zip file need downloading as well? The guieec download only has the cdan4.dat file. Just wondering because I can't seem to get the lhblo.zip to incorperate into the guieec. I've also been reading through the ShiftMaster user guide and the gui-eect "easy"start-up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I take it you need the gui tuner program to make the changes and save information from the ShiftMaster settings?
Do you have to Dump Ford ROM files each time to tune, or just initially?

Thanks!

Hi Jason, check out this thread http://nloc.org/ubb/Forum13/HTML/000078.html

The lhblo.zip will need to be expanded and it will turn into lhbl0.dat. It was "zipped" up to make it faster to download.

Basically you use the Shiftmaster software to initially set things up (mainly Verify the Tuner and dump the stock ROM). Then switch over to the GUI and do your tuning.

Feel free to ask any more questions !!

I know it seems confusing at first, it's really not that bad once you get going and I hope to have things a LOT more streamlined soon !
