.....IF I get a laptop to run an EEC tuner that when I get done with my motor swap this winter that I will not need to convert to mass air!! Also, With going from my combo now with the chip to a Tuner program, If I went this route could you help me with a basic program on my set up so that way I could at least start the truck up?????

This winter I'm going to stroke it and put custom grind blower cam in, with AFR's and I'll install the Strim back on top of the new combo!

Do you honestly think that trying to remain speed density will be difficult??

Shane when you get ready to do it send Raymond your chip so he can get it dumped and make you a tuner file from it then you can see what the tuner's are changing and it will give you a much better idea of what's going on

I thought about that, but I doubt that will work, because I'm changing absolutely everything! bore/stroke/cam/heads/injectors

I must admit though, Sals chip makes it runs awesome when It'll get down the track, and I think the reason why it won't is chip related but I'm not positive! I'm not doggin Sal, cause I think he knows his stuff!

I think Jerry meant that with a chip dump you'd have a baseline to tune by.

But if you're going to change that much then yeah we'll have to start from scratch.

Shane to be honest it will take a bit of time to get everything right. S/D or mass air, the more radical the combo the more tuning it takes. It's not impossible though

I will say go with a custom Cam Motion cam made for YOUR combo, that I believe is the hot ticket.
