Hi Mike, the GUI software supports the C3P2 processor with the same .dat file the ICY1 uses (lhbl0.dat).

The bad thing is that the new 5.2 datalogging Tuners have a problem with that processor. The earlier 5.1 boards work fine. At the moment I have no idea why, but I am working on it.

Can you get me one of the older versions that work with the C3P2? Thanks - Brian

I sure don't Tony. Remember you don't have to go back with that processor if you need one. All Gen 1 processors are interchangeable with the ICY1 being the most desirable.

Why is that one so desirable?

Well it's desirable from an EEC-Tuner standpoint

For some reason only the older EEC-Tuner's will work with C3P2's I have found no reason why yet. The ICY1 has an advantage over the older C3P1 because the data locations are different in the C3P1 and I haven't found as many goodies as I have in the ICY1.

Really no other reason.

If I was looking to have a chip done for my rebuild, should I look into getting an ICY1 processor, and ditch the C3P2?

I <think> the chip guys have been through this and fixed it. Just ask whoever is going to do your chip about your processor.
