Angry GUIEECTUNER trouble

I tried to email you this, but now my server is down is having email troubles:

Raymond, Ok, I got the first problem fixed, now I'm just having trouble
getting the GUIEECTuner to work. I can get it to come up on the desktop
with the file you sent me, but the tables won't come up on the laptop
(with either the file you sent me or the ROM image I download). When I
click on a category I get a message saying "An unsupported operation was
attempted." Any idea what could be wrong? Well, sorry to take up your
time, I'll talk to you later --->Laurence

Laurence what version of Windows are you running ?? If it's 95 go to http://www.guieectuner.com and get the file named 50comupd.exe. It's about mid way down on the page. That will fix those weird errors.

Tried it. Still get the same error message. Any other ideas? I guess I'll just have to pull the computer again and use the desktop. Hopefully not. Thanks again Raymond

Mudd, I think you should have someone tune your truck

Laurence, have you uninstalled and re-installed the S/W ? Other than the early versions of Win95 problems (which that .exe fixes) I have never heard of the problem you are having.

If you uninstall make sure to reboot the laptop. You said your running Win95 right ? Also go to http://www.guieectuner.com and get the freeware version (ignore the date) and install from that, also get the lhbl0.dat file. I'm wondering if the files didn't get corrupted when I e-mailed them to you.

Just make sure you don't thow the Tuner out the window

Every once in a while something like that pops up, what's strange is that it works fine on the desktop but not the laptop. To me something about the laptop does not want to play with the GUI EEC Tuner software.

Like I said I wont lie everything doesn't always go perfect, that's why refunds were invented
