| Registered User Paid Member | help me make my plans.. I just booked my room for the weekend and i was hoping the stang would be ready but its not gona happen. now i think i might run the lightning but don't know what class to run in. I looked at true street but the only draw back on that is the rear tires i have for the track are not dot approved. is the lightning/truck class heads up, index, or bracket? another question is what are the cost for each class. I'm not a member of the NMRA right now and what dose that cost to join and what classes is it required and not. The truck should be a high 12 on the slicks and i guess i could run on the street tires but i'd only see mid 13s like that. Thanks for the help and see you at the track.

| Crash Test Dummy Paid Member | To run in the Lightning/Truck class you need to be a NMRA member which is $45. You don't need to be for True Street. I think the price is the same for either class. $150 I think you would have a hard time staying consistent, on street tires, with that truck Most of the info can be found here.... NMRA Digital |
