| Moderator Paid Member | No Lfest and no WFC, so maybe this will be a good Lightning party weekend? I'm really going to try and make it. If I do, I'll probably run True Street as this would be my only NMRA race. Shawn I think we should go ahead and pic a hotel to party, uh, stay at. Keith, Yeager, any of you guys have a suggestion? |

| Crash Test Dummy Paid Member | I posted something in the ILLNESS section to see where and if they stayed down there. I think Jaeger camped at the track one year. ![]() NMRA Joliet July 16-19 Most of Joliet is pretty raunchy and the hotel reviews were not to good. I found these two further South West, no bars but near the riverboat casino. Fairfield Inn Joliet South: Earn Rewards points and stay productive when traveling to Joliet $109 Hotel - Joliet, Illinois - IL - Hampton Inn Hotels $129 Some of the South Siders should post up soon with better info. |

| Crash Test Dummy Paid Member | I just made a reservation at the Fairfield Inn. Fairfield Inn Joliet South: Earn Rewards points and stay productive when traveling to Joliet $109, Looks good and it says they are only 6 miles from the track. Chris "WickedSVT" said there is a bar across the street. ![]() |

| Registered User | Guys, If you would like I will see what I can do for getting a spot set up just for all of the lightning guys to pit and party. my work email is jconley @ promediapub. com if you have any questions regarding the event. Look forward to seeing everyone at this event. Put a list together of people who plan on attending for me so I can get an idea of how much space the group will need.

I'm recalling WFC10 when we got put in the grass, along a fence and had to do a three point turn to get back into our spots. How many trucks do you think will be in the truck class? I'm thinking the true street classes are usually pretty large. I also assume that (with the economy and all) most won't commit until a month or two before the race. |

| Team Vortech Paid Member | I think a Lightning only spot is cool! But with my enclosed trailer I cant do the pitting in the grass thing like they wanted us to do a WFC10 If you could get us on the paved part you would be the man!
