Yup... I got s-k-rewed out of a room the other morning. The lady I talked to had no knowledge of a "NMRA" group. It was the "Route 66" group...

How many rooms did they have? 3?

I've still got my reservation at the Fairfield South, but saving $40/night and staying at a casino would be a LOT better.

I gave up and made my reservations at the Red Roof Inn. Nothing fancy by any means but, its 5 miles from the track and was $59 a night.

OK if you would like to reserve a room we are going to bypass the front desk and go to the manager her name is Debbie Carter her number is 815-744-9400 EXT 1546 She just got in at 2pm central time so give her a call.

I was looking on travelocity and a few area hotels are booked solid already.

Wes, your about 3 miles East/North East away, just a little more urban.

it's just across the highway from the empress.

That one must be brand spankin new!
It's not even on the google satellite map yet

But according to the address it must be right in between the Fairfield and the Hampton. The map does show an open area there.

Fairfield is 1501 Riverboat Center , Marriott is 1515, and Hampton is 1521.

Looks real nice, only $10 more at $119.
Hampton is most expensive at $129
