| Accepting Donations Paid Member | I want to USE the pictures as backgrounds for items that I have, and I cant figure out how to "hot link" the pictures to the site, so that I can use the picture. IE IMG Links and whatnot, and HTML that use the img src code... |

| guy who does stuff | At this time it is not possible to make a link to the actual image. I'm looking into it. Jamie: Sorry, but the new gallery doesn't have a private option. Please backup if you need to, and then delete that gallery if you don't want people to see it. |

| Registered User | Not the first time I've been called foolish. Happens most regarding how I spend my money. Heck, I even renewed someone else's membership once just to save their Gallery. Now that was foolish. But my pictures are not lost, they are all still safe on my huge hard drive, living deep within my Dual Processor 2.5 GHz G5 running OS 10.3.9 and Safari. What is lost is the hours I spent Sunday night arranging a new album, with each picture ordered to show before and after work I'm doing at ShowPro. Wasn't easy with the old Gallery, but possible. Lost too was another album that was added to for more than two years. One or two pictures at a time. Mostly pictures I liked but judging by the comments I got when I linked them, others enjoyed them also. Lost confidence, why bother, building or adding to another Gallery that has this ridiculous format? Lost faith, it you cant take better care of things than that. Lost Value, I spent at least half my time on the NLOC Forum randomly browsing the Gallery. The customers I'm trying to attract spent a lot of time there too. exspecto, years ago when mechanics in this country where not too sophisticated, a lot of Chevy motors got dropped into Jaguars. But I'm not changing my browser because you can make your gallery work with a Mac. As you have it now, there is nothing worth seeing. |
