| Registered User | New with some questions. so, ive always wanted a 2nd gen lightning. and now is finally the time. ive been around cars my whole life, and i know a bit more than just the basics. i currently have an f150 work truck, and an 83 cutlass that i built last year. i have a few questions about some mods that i wanted to do, and if they are possible. i am looking for a very very clean lightning, under 50k miles preferably stock. i know white is rare, but thats also the color im looking for. now, heres pretty much the only mods i was thinking about: pulleys?? slightly lowered?? corsa exhaust?? white saleen wheels?? tune?? im not sure about these mods. i dont know if corsa makes an exhaust for the lightning, how much to lower it, if those wheels will fit, what kind of pulleys? mostly im just wondering if these mods are possible, and if so, what is the best brand, and the best place to get them. i dont want to butcher the truck up at all, i need something really really clean that i can take very good care of. also where is the best place to find a lightning, ive been looking on ebay, autotrader, some classifieds, but slim pickings. |

| Registered User | as far as your mods go you can look on several sites. most of the people will tell you that who ever you pick from is just your preference. some of the bigger names are .: Johnny Lightning Performance Lightning Force Performance JDM Engineering and there are a few more but those are the ones i prefer to check out. also you can check out ebay for a lot of parts. as far as the wheels go you can get almost any wheel to fit with the right adapters. i dont think the saleens will fit without them though. for anymore questions check out the Gen 2 forum and at the top right corner of the forum list there will be a search option. good luck! charles |
