Another Newbie

Hi.

I been wanting to have one of these for a long time, and seriously for 3 yrs. Finally saved up enough, and I bought the silver one instead of the white (that's another whole story). Even my buying experience was an adventure. That wasn't the end. I'm the guy that got stuck in Memphis, by providence alone.

I met a lot of good people during my week-long adventure.

I am from NC, centrally located between Charlotte and Greensboro. I am an old guy who bought an even older guy's truck. When I inspected it, it exceeded my expectations. It has been well taken care of. Only flaws was a bug deflector which somehow disappeared when I got home, and the carboned up outside of the exhaust tips. I am working on those, it will take a considerable amount of elbow grease. It has almost new Nittos. It also has a custom, serial numbered, half-lift fiberglass cover that is really well made. It is starting to grow on me. This truck has yet to do a burnout. I will hold off on that indefinitely (or until the tires are about worn out). But I don't have anything against occasionally hammering it from 20 mph, as long as the drivetrain is warm, and the OD is turned off.
