Just want to say hi from Seattle!

Picked up a 1995 Raven black #77 Lightning and love it... Had it for about 4 months now. bought it for 3500.00 with 107000 on it, second owner first owners were in the navy and were a very nice older couple.... Very well maintained. 1 dent in back from the previous owner backing into a pole, I have since put a roll pan on it and new reont bumper without impact strip, t o me it threw off the front end!! Well that's about it and saying hello!!! Also just bumped the timing from 0 dont ask me why the factory had it there i dont think the older people ever messed with it but who knows. any wayz took spout connector out timed it at about 13 put it back in and have been running 92 and i must say man I CAN really feel the differnece.... Can anyone suggest any quick tips for even a few more ponies. It only has K&N Filter...And I put a flex e lite #180 on it...... Royal purple in tranny and rear diff. that's it.... Any help will be great. i will be here more often reading up how to make this bad boy scream. i have the 2004 ram down to 13.0 flat but it took alot of cash to do so.. But we i'm sure dont talk of Dodge on this site...Sorry..... Found a new home, hope you all will have me....

Jason

I have a 77 firebird my racecar high 10's
1978 GMC diablo
2004 ram 1500 black Rumble Bee

Love the way the L performs though over the 2004....

Jason,

Welcome to the NLOC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice truck.

Where are you located.May be able to point oyu to some other Gen 1 owners in your area.

A good CAI will go a long way on these trucks.

Also alot of good reading in the Gen 1 sections.

What are your plans for the truck?

Try to get it in the 13's at least with little money. Like i said the timing is bigtime set of pants feel i love it just found out that the spout had to be disconnected before you could time it and man the other day put a nice smile on my face. prolly gonna do L/T's with x pipe like i do to all my rides , havent figured out which system to do I have some flowmaster bullets I was gonna throw on a freind gave me, get rid of the cat's unless you dont recommend that. like I said 13's would be nice.

I have the Big K&N filter but looks to be the stock s tube to the intake. What would you suggest this is my first blue oval!! AND LOVE IT!!! Way nicer than my 2004 rumble bee like i said just not as fast yet!!

One more quicky is the hypertech chip/tuner the hpt 455131 worth trying. It did nothing for my 04 dodge the hypertech product. Just dont want to make that 300.00 mistake again... or is there people out there tuning these things for us! i just want to firm my shift and little things like that up..

Thanks,
jason
