GEN. 2 engine problem??

When i get on the boost real hard my truck skips, can't seem to put the problem
togeather??If you accell at NORMAL speeds, works fine, however, say at 50mph and you floor it, it will sputter and allmost shut off. checked the belts and the tension on the pully, very strong, it does not squeal and there are no cracks in the belt. I just got back from iraq and just hoping that someone can lead to a diection to fix this. Nathan

Welcome aboard

I would recommend changing your fuel filter, if it hasn't been changed in a while.

Also...50 mph kickdowns [on a regular basis] have been know to be DETRIMENTAL to the 5.4L S/C.

Good luck!

THANK YOU for your service to the country!!!

Jake...
