I'm Rob, I am considering acquiring a Lightning and would like to do some research on this board to make an informed decision.

I would like to buy a Lightning to tow my '07 Saleen Supercharged Mustang GT to the track, and to also be my daily driver.

I have my eye on a '99 L it has 50k miles and a clean carfax report. I emailed the vin# 2FTZF0736XCB08549 to a modularfords member in the hopes of obtaining an Oasis Report so that I could see if the I/C recall/tsb had been addressed. I'm looking to spend less than $12k.

I would appreciate any and all advise.
