| Registered User | new lightning owner in indiana hello all just picked up a 2001 lightning monday that has 2 bad rods and a bad crank. already tore apart and waiting on parts, hopfully i have the right parts coming,lol got a steel crank kit from a shop up north and a set of h-beam rods from another shop. hoping everything goes together and it runs good afterwords. hopefully it will be back alive in a week or two!! from what i have seen and read on this site everyone is very helpfull and all, hope i can contribute at some point in time. |

| Registered User | thanks, it has been a great help belonging to this site already, parts are on there way. have a crank kit coming from a shop in nw indiana $225, h-beam rods from a shop in florida $268 misc. gaskets around $250 . should i save these good rods that came out of it?
