| Registered User | New owner (kinda?) I'm actually almost done building a 2003 E150 Econoline with: Lightning (HD Truck actually) Eaton blower & intercooler + 9" lower pulley Manley H-beam forged rods Manley forged pistons Stage 2 ported heads Comp cams High flow oil pump ARP main, rod, and head studs Custom dual exhaust going through Magnaflows 4.10 gears SCT Pro Racer Custom trans valve body (not gonna be enough) Why a heavy *** van you ask? I'm a low level, high functioning quadriplegic...I cant drive anything but this and my Toyota Sienna, and being a horsepower junkie too, I'm finally doing something about it My help (my brothers actually) live 700 miles away, so once they can get back out here, it should be on the road |

You would be amazed at just how well they can be made to run and handle. Hope it comes out just as you want and I'll be looking forward to hearing more about it. Artie

| Registered User | awesome project.. I have done some measuring and was thinking the same thing for My sons 03 E-250 daily wheelchair van, (if I go build before blowing my stock L motor) although He will never be able to drive, he likes the power. We are starting on a major build for His summer ride (been collecting bit's and pieces for 3 years) starting with a 48 F-1 panel delivery, lift in back. we just got the "mild" 460 w 871 dual quad, that will be backed by a C6 and narrowed 9in (keeping it wide enough for the chair to roll between the tubs) Power is a FUN addiction |

| Registered User | Well, had it running, and it wasnt right. Heard a tap from the passenger side head which I thought was an exhaust leak. It ran and idled half decent actually, but had zero power. Did a compression check, and #1 had 70psi, while #5 was 170psi, so somethings wrong. Gotta pull the motor out again. |
