Whats NLOC,

I am new to these boards, although I am not currently a SVTL owner I look to be one within the year, I just want to look around and make the right choice before I jump on the first one I see so I will be a looker for a little while until the right one appears/appeals to me.

Your group has some great trucks and I am proud to become a part of your community.

Now a few questions. Can you guys steer me in the direction on what to look out for when browsing for a SVTL? Anything, I should be aware of right off the bat with these things? I just want to gather as much information as I can on the Lightnings so I am not so newb on them when I purchase.

Currently I own a 1994 Ford Thunderbird SC that I have had for 8 years but I feel the time is right now to move onto the one thing I have wanted for the past few years now.

Welcome, I'm new here too. Before I bought my Lightning I looked around a lot on e-bay and auto-trader. Not really looking to buy, just looking at years, condition, mileage, and price. Condition and mileage being the most important, to me. I found the Lightning I bought on e-bay first, found out the history, and on a whim e-mailed the dealer about a possible trade. Everything just worked out, good trade, good price, great truck. Be patient!! Hope this helps
