I first want to start with I absolutely LOVE the who to post video
Secondly I do want to say I do not drive a lightning but I do drive around many of them (if only I could find that 30K I misplaced last year)!!!
Anyhow this is my beast her name is Faster than Lightning she is a 1983 LWB F-150 here is the specs everything is done but I am working on the 393 build right now!!!
351W 1969 block at .060 over that was torque honed to get there it is getting a 3.85 crank with 5.956 rods also C9OE with forged flat top pistons with full floating pins. This will be externally balanced to 8K RPM and outfitted with all ARP 190,000LBS tensile strength bolts. Comp Cams XR286R solid roller cam (advertised at 286in and 292ex lift at .614in and .621ex and on a 110*). The lifters are the Endure-X solid roller lifters, and the springs are dual springs with dampers at a 1.525 diameter and have 210LBS of seat pressure at a 1.9 installed height and 523LBS at open load with a coil bind at 1.17. Trick flow is the middle man here with their one piece cromolly push rods and the mounting point with the twisted wedge heads W/ O-Ring grooves and have been milled .010 creating a 62CC chamber they also only have the 2.02 and 1.6 stainless valves, but does have 40 hours of port work creating 280CFM at .600 lift and 288CFM at 6.50 lift all held down with yes ARP head studs. To top this long block off will be a Vic JR. intake with about 10 hours of port work in the top webbing and in the head mating area and runners with a completely modified Holly 750 with a 850 base plate a pro-form center section W/O air horn or choke with mechanical secondary, all making this @ a 920CFM carb. To wrap this motor up is a high volume oil pump Melidon 8 Quart pan Wieand water pump SFI balancer and SFI scat flywheel. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Mallory hi-fire 6A-L digital box uni-lite distributor and a MSD blasterII coil with Taylor 8MM wires and hooked to a 5" 10,000RPM tach with presets and an adaptor recall kit. THE HEADERS and EXHAUST are a set of cyclone 1-3/4 primary tube with 3" collectors for a 351M that I modified to fit the W motor (I did this cause the biggest headers I could find that fit the 83 with a W motor was an 1-5/8 with 2.5 collectors). Full 3" custom "X" pipe set up with 2 chamber flows dumped before the axel. THE TRANNY and COMPONETS starting with a TCI 9" 3500 stall to a C-6 (non-built but very recently fresh) with a Hurst pro-matic shifter to a Custom built Steel drive Shaft with Spicer joints and stock yokes. THE MASSIVE 9" 1969 case and I think a 76 third in it with Richmond street 4.56 gears connected to 31 spline axels with hardened 3" studs on weld drag-lite's 15"X10" with Hosier 28" tall 14.5 quick time pro tires with tubes. FUEL SYSTEM is a 20 gallon aluminum cell with -8AN stainless braided lines Dual holly blue pumps one for the motor and one for the Nitrous Works Dual stage kit one is managed with an Aero motive regulator and one with a Holly Regulator. THE NITROUS SYSTEM Nitrous Works Dual Stage System with purge solenoid I will only be running one stage but it will be a 200 out of the hole. THE SUSPENTION is a Cal-Trek slapper bar design that I built with about 80 bucks of metal and one evening of time I also made wedges for my pinion angel I would guess around a negative 5*..... I BETTER SEE LOW 11'S a $800 truck with $15,000 in it
