| Guest | Hokay...right now I've been running Magnaflow duals for about 18 months. So far so good, I noticed some improvement on mid to top end when they were installed. They're getting blown out and I'm not liking the sound I'm getting. I don't mind fairly loud, but they're getting a raspy tone (hard to explain) that I'm not really fond of. Sooo, the question to everyone is, what are your suggestions for a set of dual mufflers (2.5" inlet & outlet). I want a low growl and of course I don't want to lose the performance improvements I got before (I don't want much, eh?). Any & all suggestions welcome! ------------------ NLOC #307 12.93 @ 106.50 2001 KCIR Fun Ford Weekend Lightning Class Winner 2001 Crown Autocross Club E Street Prepared Champion |

| Guest | Roger I like the Straight piped sound! Its real loud but hey its the Thunder these Gen 2's definately needed right from Uncle Henry! I would put an x-pipe in place of the muffler maybe to cut out some of the popping and blurbing sounds. Sounds Really kick *** under power. Maybe I can let you take a listen one of these nights at Hooters. Greg ------------------ 01 White Lightning # 1552. Garage Queen! Curently being used to hold laundry baskets! |
