| Guest | Same here, I called and waited on hold the Sunday night for a 1:10 mins just for them to tell me that they are having router problems in our area. I was on Mediaone for over a year and never had to call tech support and I am on them for one day and it is broke.... I guess it is time to look for another ISP. ------------------ |

| Guest | Ask them to do a NSLOOKUP on www.f150online.com and it will come back with no response from thier DNS Servers. I changed my DNS Servers to a different company and now I can ping them but I still can't get to half the sites that I visit. I think my wife is more pissed than I am, She likes to do the crosswords on yahoo with her coffee in the morning and she can't get logged into yahoo with her laptop. And you don't want to mess with her before she has her coffee and crosswords. ![]() I think that I will call them again this evening and give them a little more grief, At least try to get some credit out of a service that is not working. | Guest | Well I never go to F150 online, being a "black sheep" Gen1 owner and all . But I totally agree with you guys about Comcast.... THEY SUCK!!!! Lets also not forget about the $5/mo increase for the privilage of using Comcast. I have been having similar issues with connectivity and I swear last night my connection was so slow I could have used dial up and almost been quicker. Plus we lose our e-mail address and name???? WTF!?!?!?!?!? I swear if I dont get my name back, Im switching to DSL! | Guest | I agree that COMCAST SUCKS!!!, I am on hold with them as I type this. First line told me that it is going to be Jan 7 before the have a perm fix for the problem. Loosing the email address sucks too, That is why I went with yahoo as my email address. It does not matter who my ISP is I can continue using the same email address. I think I am going to start looking for a DSL provider. The problem is I just told Telocity to get their S&*^ out of my house and went to mediaone. Not sure if any DSL provider is going to be able to give me good speeds where I am at. [/rant off] |

| Guest | Update of my last phone call with Comcast Tech support. They said that our subnet of IP's are new and they hope once the DNS Servers update across the net things will start getting better. Allot of sites do not trust the 68.xx.xx.xx domain that we are now in so we are not getting to them. Kinda makes sense, Since this is a brand new pool of IP's. Hopefully by next week we will get our service back to were it was. |
