Post Going to JDM Dec. 7th

I am going down to JDM on the 7th. IF you guys want any info or check something out for ya let me know. I can also bring some stuff back for ya if needed. I am going to have some longtubes put on my truck and get a custom chip.

Boy, sounds like a fun time. Kinda low on the fund right now, otherwise I'd have you bring me back a flip chip. How much are his long tubed headers?

I think they are around $800-$900. I am getting a flipchip and the headers installed and they are making exhast to fit my flowmasters.

Wow, that's not bad compared to the prices of some of the other lb headers I've seen. Especially when you talk about all mandrel bent stainless.

I wonder if we can maybe meet somewhere on your way back, as I'd like to see/hear them.

I live in Southgate, which is just south of Detroit. My guess is you'll be coming through on I-96, correct? It's not too far from me (maybe 45 mins). I could meet you somewhere say around Novi area. Email me at rbentle2@yahoo.com and we can work things out.

Hey could you find out what they have, or planning for the gen1's? Maybe get a catalog if they have one?

He did not have a catalog. He did say he has long tubes and the electric fan for your truck. I am very happy with the stuff I got.

How long of a drive is it to JDM's shop, anyway? He's out in NJ, right?

Clutchfan, Jeff sent me an email last night saying it took about 10.5 hours each way. That's coming/going from St. Johns, which is at least 1.5 hours from you and I. So we'd be looking at 9 hours or so.

He is in Freehold NJ. It was fun there. I think 3 other Lightnings stoped by.

Well, I just pulled up driving directions to Jim's shop on Yahoo and it's 621 from my door. Let's see, at 100mph, that's like 6 hours and change. But, it's only 22 miles from Edison, NJ where I sometimes have to visit. I see a trip to the plant coming up, huh T-Bone. At $.27 a mile, the mileage might almost pay for a set of headers. (Okay, so my math's off). I wonder if I could take them as carry on?

Chainsaw, you work for Ford? You must be salaried, to be visiting plants. I work at MTP, hourly.
