| Guest | Just wondering if there are any good "local" speed shops out there? I know theres Ramchargers, but the name Overchargers is more appropriate. Just wondering, since Id rather give money to a local business than the "big boys" like Summit or Jegs (although they do have everything...). Just seems like for being the "Motor City" we dont have alot of speed shops or customizing shops! ------------------ Chuck P 1993#3951 (24k miles, mod'ed and lots of custom parts) NLOC#138 NLOC Michigan area Regional Representative MiLOC#10 00 Focus ZX3 99 GT conv 91 GT (race/show car- in hibernation) |

| Guest | Yeah! I highly recommend Lane Automotive. Very comperable to Jeg's and Summit. And, they will match prices if you bring the catalog. Huge warehouse. I think they do mail order also. They are just off of I-94 at the Watervliet exit. Maybe a little far for drive from Detroit. www.laneautomotive.com They also host a good show/cruise in during the summer that maybe the MiLOC should visit as a group. ------------------ Bill S. 94 red #3200 NLOC #407 MiLOC #11 |

| Guest | thanks Bill. But they're a bit far away to just drop in on... I may give them a call when I start ordering all my parts in a month or so.------------------ Chuck P 1993#3951 (24k miles, mod'ed and lots of custom parts) NLOC#138 NLOC Michigan area Regional Representative MiLOC#10 00 Focus ZX3 99 GT conv 91 GT (race/show car- in hibernation) |
