CHRISTMAS PARTY

SVTOA would like to have a Christmas party this year on 12/9 at Kart2Kart (www.kart2kart.com). The event would run for 3-4 hours and start at noon. Cost for this event will be $40 for members and $45 for non members and we will need to have at least 35 prepaid participates to make this event happen. We are going to start pre-registering for this event as I have had people indicate they would have come if they could have been guaranteed a spot. Non drivers who would like to come just for the food and socializing will cost $10. The fee will include lunch and 2-4 track sessions as well as the opportunity to participate in the 30 minute enduro race that we will have at the end which will consist of 12 teams of 3 people. Last time we did this we had a blast!! Just like last time the winners will be taking home a great prize.

To make this event more exciting we are also going to have Paul Gentilozzi speak and run laps with us. Paul races in the SCCA Trans-Am series in a Jaguar XK-8 and has won the Championship 3 out of the last 4 years. Besides being a great driver he is also a great guy and should be fun to race against. For those of you that have always want to be a race car driver this is your chance to run with the big dogs!! No checks will be cashed until we reach 35 participants. All preregistrations must be received by 12/01/01. An email will be sent out at that time indicating whether the event is a go or not. I ask everyone to please try to attend this event as it's a great way to meet your fellow members plus we will be going over our events for 2002 and would like to get all of our members feedback.
