Milan WED 10/17 ??

Wanting to get to Milan at least 1 last time to see what those 285 horses can do! Weather is *supposed* to be good, so Id like to get a group together to go for test and tune. $20 to enter gates open at 4pm.

How much longer is Milan open? My new motor will be here by tues!!! Been with out the truck for over 6 weeks.

I dont know this year, but in the past I have been at Milan in November. I think they will be open the rest of the month, at least.

285hp was at the wheels, so that puts me around 335 - 357 hp at the motor. TQ was 334, which is about 395 - 417 ft-lb at the motor!!

Well, hope to see you guys out there! Looks like we only have 2 more wednesday T&T's left, so we gotta make 'em count. Is the FME having another race? So lets meet in the feild that is right behind the staging lanes, between the lanes and the shack where you check in when you enter Milan. Supposed to only be mid 50's tomorrow, so should be some good air to make some good HP/ET's!!

Nope, FME's done for the year. They had the track through September (which got pushed into early Oct due to weather). They'll pick it up again next year in May I believe.

Chuck, what happened to ya? I looked around for you but didn't see your truck. Did manage to get 4 runs in before I left at 7:45ish. Best run was 13.57@102mph. Gotta love this cold weather.

I didnt get there until almost 8pm. I had to install new cap and rotor. Gap and install plugs. Then I broke a (new) MSD plug wire and had to go out and try to get a substitute wire. By the time I got there, it was to late to even run, GRRRRRRRRRRRR. I will be ready for next week, as long as its dry! BTW did you see the blue S10 running 13.4's? It has a 400 chevy in it.

Looks like we just missed each other. Bummer.

Didn't notice the S10, there were a lot of cars there. I did notice a white Ranger with something large stuffed in the engine bay. Didn't see what times he ran. Not sure if I'll be there next week, but you never know.
