Fall Foliage Run !!

Hey guys, we made an alliance with the Michigan chapter of the SVTOA and as such we hope to be participating in a lot of their events next year!! There is an event coming up real soon, check it out. Hope some of you can come, let me know so I can make "reservations" with the SVTOA. Thanks!

SVTOA of South East Michigan is planning our 1st annual fall foliage tour on saturday 10/13. We will meet at Jack Demmer Ford just off Michigan Ave and 275 and then head west through the backroads of Michigan with our final destination being Pauls High Performance in Jackson, MI. There we will have a cookout on Paul's world famous (well at least on the race circuit) grille followed by dyno runs for those that would like to see how much horsepower they are putting to the group.

Cost for this event will be $5 per person (to cover lunch expenses) plus $80 for about 30 minutes on the dyno. Paul will also diagnose any vehicles which are on the dyno within the 30 minute window if they have any problems.

Sounds cool. I should be there. I was hoping FME would have another dyno day, but haven't heard anything from them yet. This sounds better. I like driving on the back road twisties out by Jackson.

Cool, well it looks like 4 of us so far. I know the MiLOC is small, but I would really like to see at least 10 of us participate. I think events like this are what this club needs to get people involved!

BadDog, I see you live in Canton? I just moved out of Canton about 6 weeks ago. Great city but getting crowded, what part you live in?

I'd LIKE to be there, but I don't know if I can. I work nights, getting to Demmer Ford at 9 am on Saturday would be tough. I'll try though.

We are leaving Jack Demmer Ford at 9:00 am this Saturday (they are in Wayne, MI). Then we drive out to Pauls HP, have a BBQ and dyno runs and come home. I would guess this would take most of the day, but sahould be well worht it. Feel free to e-mail me personally with any questions.
