I plan to be there! C'mon guys lets get togewther and meet at Milan for some racing! Everyone complains there si nothing to do, but never comes when there is something. So lets meet up, have some fun and get to know each other. Heck this may be one of the last outings to the track this year!

Sounds good! I'll will see if my buddy Jason (silver 01L) would like to go! Like to see what my truck can do. About what time would you would we meet? By the this will be my first time at the track, so I'll be asking alot of questions if you guys don't mind?

The gates open around 5:30, I got there the last time about 6:00. The cost is $30 for members and $40 for non-members, Spectators are free.

I'm requesting that day off tomarrow. i always complain about no notice, well here it is, so count me in. I havent met any of you yet, but looking forward to. Only bad thing for me is that my rear end is shot, and wont be fixed by that time, so I wont be racing, but at least I still will be there, and I will still have the truck with me, just cant race yet. -Mike

Guys, if we still go, lets pick a meeting spot. I say either the grass area by the entrance, or over next to the consession stand. I plan to be there between 5:30 and 6pm.

you are stock? Nothing really. Bring a helmet if you run in the 13's. You need all your overflows and safety equipment in working order. And you'll need a DS loop and longer wheel studs if you run slicks.

I don't know what I run, I've never been at the track before. And I don't have a helmet. Where can I get one from? And how much do they cost? Do you think I could get into the 13's?

My 2000 is stock and the last time out the best I did was a 14.440, I hope with the cooler weather to get it in the 14.2's. I don't think that we will break the 13.9 that requires a helmet.

Who ever gets there first just try to find a place that will fit all the lightnings in one area. I like to park by the stands myself because I will have family watching and that way I don't have to walk across the field to get to them... call me lazy

Sept. 20th? That's a Thursday, since I work nights, would I need to be there in the AM? I'd love to be there, but the AM hours aren't an option for me. If I can drag my sorry *** in there after noon, let me know, I'll be there, tired, but I'll be there.

Bob, Ill take the mat if you still want to get rid of it.

Lightning0513, I doubt youd break 13's too. Better to have a helmet just in case. Borrow a buddies motorcycle helmet, it will pass as long as it DOT approved.

Guys dont forget the SVT video event thingy is Friday the 21st, in the AM. Anyone who still wants to go please e-mail me as I think there are only like 10 spots left.
