Angry Flat F1

Moving the cars around yesterday and while pulling the Torino out I looked over at the L and there it was sitting on the ground.

Right rear tire has a big screw in it, Took it off and dropped it off at the local Shell station. I sure hope they can fix it because it is at the very edge of the tread. I guess you can say I was screwed, Or at least will be if I have to buy another F1...

When I had mine rotated a few weeks ago, I had 2 screws, one in each rear. (Keep your comments to yourselves, guys ) Luckily, only one was disabling. Plugged the bad one, the other came out with no ill effects. Damn, I hate plugging high-performance tires.

Well I was lucky and they were able to plug it. I am glad because I relly didn't want to shell out 200.00 on a new tire. I really don't care to have a plug in it neither... I'll see if I can do a few burnouts and melt it into the tire.

they werent able to patch it? I think patches are better, when you can use 'em. I dont like either really, but it sure beats $200 for a new tire.

It was on the very edge, It was in the treads that move the water out. What ever they call that area of the tire. So the patch would have been on the curve of the sidewall.

Tut tut. The new plugs are supposed to work splendidly. Leastwise, that's what the tire guys say. Guess we'll both see.
