Thumbs up WOW!!!!

I got to 925 or so miles this evening and decided to put my foot "all the way in it", and damn, I haven't had an adrenaline rush like that in a while.
My friend has a "ram air" Trans Am with a cam and a couple of other minor mods - I've seen hime run a 12.65 quarter mile in it! He wanted to see how well the L stood up to it, and we went from a roll at about 15-20 m.p.h. He was about 1 and a half car lengths ahead of me by the top of his third gear (std xmission). Then we went from a dead stop, and I got him from the launch, and he was starting to pull me in second gear, then he missed third. We were both pretty damn suprised at how well the L stood up.
In my opinion, the L got better traction. The T/A pulled harder, but the L shifted faster ( I didn't manually shift ). The L can haul/ pull stuff much better than the T/A - hehehe. The T/A sounded better, but the L is still very stock..... which exhaust sounds the best????....
All in all, I see a dozen or so of the T/As a week, but only a couple Ls a month. I'd take my L over anything else (except for one of the "Friday's girls".....)!

Exclamation

Glad to see your already enjoying your L. lol It didnt take me that long to "break in" mine, I was at the track the first week I had it, ran 13.80s bone stock with 300 miles.
My personal opinion on exhaust is, if its not broke, dont fix it. The stock exhaust works fine down to low 12s, and is more pleasant as a daily driver. Some exhaust on our trucks actually reduces horsepower. But if your just lookin for more sound, everyone seems to like the magnaflow. Do a search in Gen 2, you will find all the info. When your ready, get a chip, filter and pulley, you should be in the 12.80 range then. Have fun.
