What time do the Friday night races start?

I am planning on going to the track in Baton Rouge this Friday. Anyone know what time the races start, and what the cost is to race. This will be my first time at the track so any good info is welcome. I want to take it before I put a chip in it just to see what it will run with just filter and magnaflow. It would also be nice to see a couple more lightnings out there if you guys want to have a little outing. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

Nik, I believe State Capital opens at 5pm on Fridays. Dont expect great times, the heat really kills these trucks. A guy just bought a 00 in BR last week and brought it out there and he only ran 14.20s. I usually go there alot on Fridays once it cools down some

Nick, the Baton Rouge Raceway (oval Dirt track) is usually open on Friday nights. Heres the link to their schedule page:

Dirt Tracking is not really my scene, so I cant really tell ya what goes on out there..

I went to the track for the first time last Friday and had a blast! I am planning on going every Friday I get a chance. The only thing is that I relly feel lonely being the only lightning out there so some company would be nice also

Maybe when it gets a little cooler, we'll have a little outing or something. Just let me know when and im there.

Nik I may come out to State Capital in a few weeks, to try out my truck before I go to Dallas. I got the Black 00 with the USMC liscence plate..
