| Guest |  Where are yall hiding? Hello all my fellow louisiana lightning owners. Jus wanted to get an idea on where you guys are from and what model and color L's you have just in case I happen to see you on the road. I have had my lightning for three weeks now and I have not seen another lightning on the road yet. I purchased it from Audabon ford in Baton Rouge and I live in Lutcher. After talking to one of the mechanics at Audabon, it sound like they are pretty leanient when it comes to the whole warranty-mod thing. Well I hope to see you guys on the road. By the way, I have a 00' Black L with a bed cover, 01' tailights and upper and lower billet grilles. Later, Nick |

| Guest | Hi Nick, I also bought my L from Audubon Ford. Mine is a Black 00' with billet grilles, and the Ford Emblem still on it. I have had mine in the truck shop at Audubon three times, all for warranty work, the usual stuff, the control arm clunk, loose crank pulley, and a EGR pressure valve. Ive had a Swanson Chip, MAF, and JL Stage three ram air, and they had no probs with it so far. The first thing they asked me when I brought it in the shop was what kind of times it ran, and what i did to it so far. I wouldnt go pulling the heads or anything tho, they might frown on that.. | Guest | Hey Shane, I had to bring my truck back to Audubon today. The transmission slips abit when it shifts into overdrive. Get this....when they typed the truck up on the computer it said that whoever owned the truck before me was also having transmission problems and that it had a whole new transmission put in it. I hope they solve the problem this time around. I told them to go ahead and give me my 10k mile oil change while it was there. I talked to a guy named Jamie in the truck shop about the whole warranty-mod thing and he said that they were pretty lenient on that. I think I will install a chip when I get it back but I just dont know what kind yet. Any suggestions? Nick |

| Guest | It's great to see anyone typing here. I had given up even looking at LOLA because it has been so quite lately. How about a get together in Baton Rouge sometime? It's great having a dealer that treats us fairly. Most others don't and we need to let Audubon Ford hear that we are spreading the word on their good work and fair dealings. This is their greatest payback for this treatment. Hope to see you soon. Has anyone heard from Dashboards Plus? | Guest | Hey Alvin, long time no see. A outing in BR sounds good to me, and Saturday nights are getting pretty good at Miss Goldies. Seems to be a little more street racing and a few faster cars. It may take a while to dry out here in South La tho, most of the roads in the south BR area will prob be closed till Saturday, when the water goes down some.
