Thumbs down Paging Bobby!

Hey...

I know you set up the deal with the clearancing of the new melling oil pump. Is there any information you can give me on this topic? It's back apart, the "clearanced" oil pump looks IDENTICAL to the other one with the SAME amount of miles.

Was this POS even touched other than handling? I'm dead serious here, there is too much money tied up in this bottom end to have this SAME problem every 2000 miles. It's costing me a race. I don't know who it was that supposedly worked on this POS, but I have pictures and both the old and the 'clearanced' one in my garage.

Help me out here, I need to know WTF is going on.

You're more than welcome to Email me since I don't come here much. Trace92lx@hotmail.com

Thank you!

Don't worry about it, Bobby.

I got the Email and deciphered as much from it as I could, but figured it's just not worth messing with. It's IDENTICAL to the first one and was supposed to have been clearanced so this wouldn't happen. Whatever.
At least I pulled it apart before it destroyed anything else. I just have a few marks on the crank from where pieces of metal from the oil pump made it through.

Lesson learned.
