What's happening locally?

I'm a 20 year Shelby American Automobile Club member living here in Denver.I own a 66 GT-350 and would like to get a white 94/95
Lightning next.Would like to meet local owners at shows,cruise nights or Bandimere and learn more about these trucks.

Doug,

You probably know Bob Cloutier from your SAACC involvement. I know Bob from the RMMR event as well as the occasional outing at Second Creek with my Mustang. Let me know if you need anything. I race my Mustang at Bandimere all the time and occasionally race the Lightning.

I forgot I was a moderator here until I just reminded myself on a previous post hehe. There is a Colorado Chapter F150 meet at Hooters on jan 12. If anyone is interested email me at RookzRook@aol.com with Hooters in the subject line...hmmmm better make that F150 in the subject line. I get enough junk porn that says Hooters...hehehe

Jan 12th, All F series trucks and Ford cars invited. 11 AM I am still trying to determine WHICH Hooters, but from what I am gathering...the Northglen Hooters??? I'll update when info becomes available.

Well I know a couple of you have been following the drama at the other board and I have received emails about it. Why don't we plan our own thing. The President of the COLORADO Chapter of F150s seems to have it in his mind that Lightning owners think they are better than other F150 drivers therefore advising us that if we have that attitude we are not welcome...It's an issue I have only encountered when dealing with him however, a NON Lightning owner, so the hell with them. We'll do our own thing on the 12th. Any ideas? Someplace where we can take some pictures would be nice. But who can predict the weather right?

this is just an idea, first I want to say: HAPPY NEW YEAR!! now I'm all for a lightning get together. My thought of the place: 4010 S federal blvd. Mustang Unlimited. lots of places to park and picture taking. Guys & Gals-
I personally have had problems with Mustangs Unlimited.When I attempted to contact Terry the owner for help with my problem through one of his employees,he wouldn't even return my calls.I will do mail order parts for my Shelby before I would ever buy anything there again.And I thought I was doing the right thing by supporting one of our local businesses.Are we still trying to meet on Sat.

I just found out I have to work sat the 12th from 12- 4pm . If you all want to move it back to the 13th I'm in. If you can move it back to the 13th how about meeting at a eatery say Gunther Toody's ? their are 6 of them to choose from.
