Here is the latest event schedule as of 6 August 2008 (subject to change),

Friday 15 August:

7:30A Gates open
8:45A-4:00P Drag Tech inspection
9:00A-1:30P Test and Tune
12:30P-1:45P True Street cruise
2:00P-2:45P True Street qualifying
3:15P- 4:45 P True Street eliminations
2:45P- 5:15P 1st round qualifying – all other drag classes
6:00P-8:00P Offsite Dinner & Cruise Night Fuddruckers Restaurant
4400 South Noland Road, Independence, MO 64055

5:30P-10:00P Local track test & tune (free to LF participants)
10:30P Gates close

Saturday 16 August:

7:00A Gates open
7:30A-10:00A Drag Tech inspection
9:00A-11:00A Adams Detail Clinic
9:00A-12:00P 2nd & 3rd round qualifying
12:00P- 12:45P Group picture
1:30P-5:30P Drag eliminations
5:35P-6:30P Burnout contest
7:00P-7:15P Award presentations
7:30P-11:30P Grudge racing with GM, Dodge and Ford trucks
11:59P Gates close

i do hope that if a magazine photographer comes to Lightning Fest 6, that they also go to the show for pictures. i was dissapointed this year that there were no show pictures in magazines since it is part of the event.

it only figures, there is a 4 generation family reunion (1st of it's kind for us) the same weekend. i have cousins that i have never seen. i will have to pass up lightning fest.

I 2nd MJ! Always look forward to seeing that gunship. Everytime I see that paint I catch details that I hadn't seen before, and we all know the passion and work that you've put in it. And you actually drive it!

We all know family comes first, just know that you will be missed.

I was going to register but I have question. What is the difference between Race and Race, 2 Classes? Is one for Friday & the otherone is for Saturday?

Race, 2 classes is for those who wish to race say Street and true street or any combination of two classes.

Your registration however you choose is for BOTH days of racing! A race registration also entitles you to enter in the Sunday show if you want!
