Are we getting close to having a Hotel to spend our non-track hours? Us old guys are going to need a place to rest our weary bones.

We're working on it. The Hampton that we had last yr was unavailable to us, so we had to come up with other options. I'm visiting some of the other hotels in the area this week and will pass on what I find to Dwight, so hopefully we'll have something very soon.

I know guys, I'm in the same boat as you are.

Man Vern that stinks that we can't get the same as last year.They was very tailgate party friendly at least as much as i could remember

The problem with the Hampton Inn- Lee's Summit (last years GREAT hotel), is that they have a government contract from May through Dec for over 60 rooms every night.

You must remember that LightningFest 6 event date is during the prime travel season, so getting a block of rooms is problematic. Vern has promising information from the Blue Springs area and I am pursuing it as the answer to our "host hotel" needs.
