LightningFest 5 event hotel information

Hello all,

Due to problems with the city of Independence, MO and their public drinking rules,

we have selected a hotel in Lee's Summit, MO. The hotel is closer to the track than the Comfort Suites was last year, and is larger (109 rooms). We have blocked the complete hotel for the nights of 20-22 September. The hotel and the city of Lee's Summit, allow tailgating and we will not be hassled this coming year.

The hotel is the Hampton Inn, Lee's Summit, MO.

Yes, you should get the same rate, it is just that we took the complete hotel for those 3 days.

BTW, it was fun to tell the Independence Comfort Suites that they just lost ~$30,000 (the money paid in room rent). The city will loose even more.

Sorry folks, but the Hampton Inn has a "No Pets Allowed" rule.

The only Pet Friendly hotel in Lee's Summit is (5.1 mi from the Hampton Inn):

Holiday Inn Express
4825 N E LAKEWOOD WAY
Lee's Summit, MO 64064

Pet Policy - Pets allowed in select rooms with an nonrefundable $25 fee.
Service animals welcome.
