Talking BigD's Golf Cart will be looking for competition

This year the cart will be faster and badder than last year!

If all goes as planned, I will be attending next year with my golf cart. Its an oldie, early 70's cushman with a lot of zip off the line, but its lacking the top end right now. Next summer I will be doing some motor work combined with a 3 speed transmission. I'll try to get some pics up later.

Have to see if it can keep up with the ghost from the North. The only cart to run in the 19's at L-Fest last year.

1/8th mile. Drivers must wear full pants, jacket, and Helmet.

Actually my cart is now the ghost of TX!

I would call an 85 HP snowmobile engine on a golf cart "wanting to go fast"!

Anything past 40 and it will dump because of the short wheelbase.

Read a interesting article in the Wall Street Journal today while on the plane.

Mentioned something about Big D winning a golf cart race in Kansas City in September.

I thought to myself, were else did he race at in Kansas City.

The white ghost from the North put down the only blistering 19 second pass at L-Fest, and Big D had mechanical problems that kept his cart from making the finals.

Should be fun to see the 07 cart showdown.

I think it was great to get some press time. Wish they would of included the event name though.
