| Guest | I want to bolt on traction improvements. What do you sell to do that? Please let me know if you recommend a crank (only) pulley that will keep air and alternator working yet still improve performance? I hope your respone to either this post or my previous e-mail is faster than Power Surge Performance. I have been waiting for him to e-mail some info. about his fuel tank solenoid system since early summer. He must have more business than he needs. ------------------

| Guest | Hey White lightning, I carry Rancho traction bars and Cal-Tracs. Do a search and see what the guys prefer. I personally installed the Ranchos on my Gen1. As for the pullies, I went with the whole set. There isn't enough amp. lose to make a difference. Got them too. Mark/LFP [This message has been edited by Lightninforce (edited 11-08-2001).] |

| Guest | Rick: if you are going to spend the $$ I would go with the Cal TracsŪ. They work really well and a guy I know with a 150hp nitrous kit and et streets hit a 1.7 sec 60 ft time on them consistently. I am going to get a set of these myself soon. Probably through Mark. The other option is the rancho torque arms. These however are much larger and hang under the truck very visibly, they also are Red in color. The traction improvement is relatively equal betweent he two types of traction bars. If you come out to Irwindale with us you can check out the "snubbers" i put on the stock traction bars to help with the hook. i will test them on Sunday to see how well they worked. They cost $8.00 from autozone ![]() ------------------ NUFF SAID |
