The following hotels in Independence, MO take pets. They are close to the track and Hilton Garden Inn:

Super 8 Motel, Independence, MO (816) 833-1888
Red Roof Inn, Independence, MO (866) 613-9330

Remember that wherever you stay, plan on joining the never-ending tailgate party in our Hilton Garden Inn reserved parking area!

If anyone is staying at either of those hotels, I may be interested in subletting a corner of your room for our very well behaved dog (with kennel). We'll be bringing the Camper de Poochie with us, whatever the case.
