Post dyno before & after numbers

11/10/01 AM: stock '01 L w/3,368 miles
max: 329.2 rwhp & 402.6 rwtq

12/27/01 PM: see mods below w/5,453 miles
max: 366.8 rwhp & 430.0 rwtq

this was with:
JDM Flip Chip in track mode
JDM Air Filter kit

what was the temp outside, and how warm was the motor when you did the runs?

A saw a friend dyno his 2001 with the same mods, and he got 374 HP not sure on the torque. It was abot 45 degrees out, and the truck sat for a hour or so before they put it on the dyno.

you are in the ball park, you picked up allmost 40 rwhp not to bad. I just wonder if it might be better to dyno it on the street side. Also some dynos show higher HP #'s than others.

Thumbs up

If both runs were at Colvin, those numbers are OK. 40hp with just a mail order chip-n-filter is great. My truck at Colvin with the same mods, plus the full Bassani was at 353 and 356rwhp and ran 13.30s to 13.60s at 101 to 103mph. When I added the 4lb pulley, fan kit, water pump, converter and reburn I jumped to 12.40s and 12.50s at 107 to 109mph. I am confident my truck is around 410 to 420rwhp right now. I say get the JDM 4lb pulley and the fan kit/water pump and you should be at the 400rwhp mark with no problem. Later!!!!

TX SVT LIGHTNING,

With a proper cool down you would probably see a 22 to 25 HP gain.Even when Ford does their Hp ratings it is done with a controlled temp.
Other than that hp #'s look good for a warm truck with your mods.
