JDM 2001 Lightning Runs 11.405@118.5!!

Being that December 15 would be the last day of the season at Cecil County Dragway TeamJDM decided to test out their 2001 Lightning test truck. James D'Amore, owner and founder of JDM Engineering, Inc. took control of the drivers seat and clocked a phenominal 11.405@118.50 slaughtering the previous best time of 11.6. To this date TeamJDM's Gen 2 Lightning is the fastest non-nitrous Lightning on the planet. I feel sorry for the guy in the other lane who ran a 11.79. You feel like your car is running pretty good, it's in the 11's, and a truck runs by you and kicks you tail by almost 4 tenths. Sad

I don't think its the fastest non-nitrous truck on the planet, there's this guy named Jason Brown who uses turbos

It may be the fastest non-nitrous gen 2 though.- Brian

Gas guzzler, well it is the quickest non nitrous L on the planet that is currently running

(Sorry J). Actually J's truck is almost there and should be running real soon, looking for low 7's this time out.
