Post A few questions

I purchased my 2000 a month ago. So far I have put a meter on it and a chip. The chip caused pinging so I pulled it for now. I wouldn't qualify myself as hard on my daily driver, buy you know there are those occasions when a Camaro of Cobra must by put in its place. My questions are about the stuff I am seeing about Lightnings losing engines and transmissions at an alarming rate. And if the engines aren't blown they have a rod nock. Do these guys just drive their trucks that hard or ar the trucks that likely to break? My last question is about the intercooler recall. My truck doesn't lose a drop of fluid and I haven't recieved anything from Ford for the recall. Anyway, any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks again
Merc
