PINGING

Hi, I just put in a superchip on my truck. The thing is stock other than a PRO-M meter. With the chip the thing is pinging in third and fourth. I only run 92 octane and have sense been putting octane booster in.

Hey man, I'm not of any help but I see that your from KC?

I'm from Topeka and go to KC regularly! Actually, I'm going to go to Hooters on 40highway and Noland road tonight! Their is usually some good cars hanging out and some street racing going down! I think tonight should still be pretty good! Its not to cold anyways!

My truck is a black gen 1, chrome wheels and has abanner on the widsheild that says Vortech......it whines really louldly also...

I would take the chip and the pro-m off and put it back to stock for now.When you ordered the chip did you tell them you were installing a pro-m.I am sure Jim can solve your problem just give him a call.

Shane, I have seen your truck I think. Was it at Marks shop a few months ago? I have only had my Lightning for a month. My other car is a 1986 Mercury Capri. Its on the wall at MC. Anyway, in response to the post about taking the chip and meter off, I did tell Super Chips that I had the meter, so.....
