Hi kids....
I was on shift tonight reading ILLNESS posts and I have to say MAN I miss everyone. I had never read the posts from years ago about Margi and I while I was deployed for Katrina relief and was getting teary eyed while reading them...WOW I love you all and owe some long over due cocktails to my ILLNESS family.
We have not posted in years and lost touch with many of you and it is truley our loss. This group is some of the most outstanding, warm,and mind blowing people we have ever met and I plan on checking the boards more and I swear I will do my best to stay in touch.
For those of you that still remember us I wanted to let you know that my red 2001 baby now belongs to my sweet Margi and it's time for me to find a new toy.(Gen 1 maybe) ;-)

Would be great to see you guys again.
We usually get together at least once over the winter.
Two dates for sure are the drag expos...

January 30th and 31st in Schaumburg
World Drag Expo

and closer to you
March 6th and 7th at Saint Charles
Race & Performance Expo Show

Breakfast before and or Hooters after.

Hello again & welcome back!

Larry - last month, I went through Yorkville to play "The Bourne" with some friends (what a great golf course) and saw your Lightning at the house. On the way back, I saw you with your Lightning outside the fire station along with some other firemen. I yelled at "Hey Larry" at you, but you probably didn't have a clue who it was. I wasn't driving, otherwise I would have stopped and said hello. As we continued north, we noticed a decent sized fire near the creek on the north end of town. We turned around to get a better look and were going to report it, but then we heard the fire engines coming so we turned around again and headed home.
Hope we can get together for a few cocktails sometime soon.
